William Kelly Harrison, Jr. was born Sept. 7, 1895 in Washington, DC, to Kate Harris Harrison and Commander William K. Harrison, a U.S. naval officer.The younger Harrison graduated from the U.S. Military Academy in the spring of 1917.He married Eva Antoinette Toole Dec. 13, 1917.
